By now everyone has seen the website put out by the Center of Consumer Freedom concerning the "high" number of companion animals members of PETA euthanized every year.
Very rarely will you see Ingrid's response. CCF considers this response lame, than again they also represent big alcohol, tobacco, meat, and dairy, and have even apposed MADD. I wonder what their response would be to the countless humans that die every year due to the very industries they support.

CCF is a huge joke... anyone with half a lick of sense can see right through their manipulative tactics. CCF is just a huge, bought-off mouthpiece for corporate greed and institutions that promote deceit and exploitation.
Incidentally, CCF took its startup money from Philip Morris and claims that the movie "Charlotte's Web" is propaganda from the HSUS. And the whole idea is ridiculous: giant corporations pretending they need someone to stand up for them against some activist groups? Please.
Sometimes I am skeptical of PETA, if only because they don't seem to go far enough, but sometimes it seems like they're all I've got. So yes, I did pay member dues this year.
